Nosara Spanish Institute (“NSI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our website, inquiry forms, reservation forms, and booking services.
Information we collect
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide, including your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, program interests, questions, preferred dates, Spanish level, accommodation preferences, and other information you include in an inquiry or reservation request.
Our website and service providers may also receive basic technical information needed to operate and secure their services, such as browser type, device information, IP address, and access logs.

- Help visitors choose and plan an NSI program
- Confirm availability and manage reservations
- Provide classes, accommodation coordination, and customer service
- Maintain business records and meet legal obligations

Service providers
NSI uses third-party services to operate parts of the website and booking process. These may include GoHighLevel for forms and customer communications, WeTravel for reservations and payments, and website hosting or email providers.
These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and service terms. Payment-card information is handled by the applicable payment provider and is not stored directly by this website.
Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, provide services, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You may contact NSI to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. You may also ask us to stop using your information for communications that are not necessary to provide a requested service.
Children and family inquiries
Our Family Spanish Program is arranged by a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians should avoid submitting sensitive information about a child through the general inquiry form. NSI will request only the information reasonably needed to assess availability and organize the program.
International processing
Some service providers may process or store information outside Costa Rica. By submitting information through these services, you understand that it may be processed in the countries where those providers operate, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.
Security
NSI takes reasonable steps to protect personal information. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Third-party links
The website may link to external booking, payment, review, map, or program-related services. NSI is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, services, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
